[Chutes Program] Wallace the Lion in Haight Chutes Zoo. Wallace the Lion was on display at both the Haight Street and Fulton Street Chutes. The Zoo at the Fulton Street Chutes was phased out in October, 1907. Wallace and rest of the zoo was sold off to a zoo in Vancouver, B.C.
Haight Ashbury
Rehearsal for the Children's Pet Exhibit in which students throughout San Francisco competed for prizes. The event began in 1915 at the PPIE and was so popular that local educators possibly worked with the Human Society to keep it going for decades. Girl with pet dog.
