ChinatownView west toward collapsed east wall of the Memorial Museum in Golden Gate Park, after 1906 earthquake. Originally constructed as the Fine Arts Building for 1894 Midwinter Fair, it was renamed Memorial Museum in 1895 and eventually became part of de Young Museum. The building was repaired and later demolished in 1929.

Building at left was originally the Royal Bavarian Pavilion at the 1894 Fair. It was converted into an annex to the Memorial Museum. Sundial (by M. Earl Cummings) installed October 1907, unmounted cannon on lawn, Dore Vase, replacement sphinx.
