Large corner mansion with tower gardens front and back is at southwest corner of Union and Pierce was built circa 1884 by wealthy attorney and landowner David Bixler. Four story windmill and water tank on Union west of Pierce. House at center with Mansard roof was home of Louis Schultz at 2426 Filbert. Probably taken from near Broadway and Fillmore.
