Russian Hill/Aquatic Park from SF Bay. Maritime Museum building at far right. Riverboat 'Fort Sutter' on the beach next to the rowing clubs at left. Entrepreneur Barney Gould purchased the old riverboat and brought it to Aquatic Park in February 1953 with hopes to convert it into a showboat. It was later moved to west end of beach where it burned on May 1, 1959.
