Treasure IslandBeach at Aquatic Park, looking east to grounded riverboat 'Fort Sutter,' Hyde St Pier, and rowing clubs. Entrepreneur Barney Gould purchased the old riverboat and brought it to Aquatic Park in February 1953 with hopes to convert it into a showboat. It was beached at the east end of Aquatic Park near the rowing clubs. The boat was later moved to west end of beach where it burned on May 1, 1959.
