Downtown / Union SquareView north across Mission St. to three story brick building, 80-98 9th Street, built in 1908 on northwest corner with bar and newsstand on ground floor. Street work and streetcar tracks. Still stands in 2021. Signs for Old Kirk Whisky, Hibernia Steam Beer and Jackson Steam Beer.
South of MarketView to northwest corner and Hotel Golden Eagle building. Barber and bar on ground floor. Roma Hotel next door. Building extant, with some facade modifications, in 2018, with Golden Eagle Hotel address at 402 Broadway.
North BeachFillmore St between McAllister and Golden Gate Ave. View northwest to The Fillmore rooming house, Fillmore Grill, The Occidental apartment building. All buildings demolished except the apartments on far right at northwest corner of Golden Gate Avenue, extant in 2018.

South of MarketView northwest across O'Farrell. Building with coffee sign at far right built 1906 (Salfield & Kohlberg, architects), extant in 2022 with 1933 Art Deco remodeled facade. John R. Sievers florist on ground floor of Manx Hotel on northwest corner (Villa Florence Hotel in 2022). Hotel Gloster (later Hotel Virginia and San Francisco Downtown Hostel in 2022), Rathjen Bros. Groceries and Liquors in distance on left. At right, Keiner's Liquors, 198 O'Farrell, with swing out electric sign. Buildings in view all still stand in 2022
