Golden Gate Heights
505 Buchanan on the Northwest corner of Oak. It was the site of a gun battle and siege between police and bank robber George Nelson on September 12, 1915, resulting in Nelson's suicide. Building was demolished by 1922. [dpwbook16 dpw3473]
