Northern Waterfront
Calso Water Company at 33 12th Street, bottled soda water they marketed as a hangover cure, and could be found in many local bars. The brand was eventually sold to Schweppes, which discontinued the line.
South of Market
These two homes and the gas station on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Balboa Street have all been demolished for apartment buildings. In 1951 the basement of 26 Balboa, center, housed the Helene Hardin Theatrical Talent Agency.

This residential home is now the site of St. Thomas Anglican Church, built in 1986.
Pacific Heights
1129 O'Farrell Street, north side of the street between Gough and Franklin. Just to the right of this home is the corner of St. Mark's Lutheran Church on O'Farrell, serving San Franciscans since 1894. These Edwardian flats were demolished as part of Western Addition redevelopment. The home to the left was owned by St. Mark's church and the church offices were on the first floor.

252 4th Ave. This small Victorian home, seen here with asbestos shingles siding, was replaced by a six-unit apartment building, aka a "Richmond Special," in 1962.

This former Queen Anne Victorian with corner turret / tower, stuccoed here, has been heavily modified and though still claims a construction date of 1904, bears a strong resemblance to 1990s era homes. 272 4th Avenue

Rear view of 1781 Pine Street, from Austin. This home sat on the south side of Pine Street between Gough and Franklin. Large apartment house at 1770 Pine in background at left. This structure was replaced by large apartment houses on Pine and Austin.

Parkside Appliance, 922 Taraval Street, next door to Model Shoe Shop at 930 Taraval. All structures now demolished and replaced with a bank.
