1906 Earthquake and Fire, View northeast from Larkin & Grove, from what was the entrance of the Mechanics' Pavilion. Dome of the Hall of Records in the background, which outlasted City Hall by 10 years.
Civic Center
This was 1501 Golden Gate Avenue, at the corner of Pierce Street. It was one in a row of sixteen houses built by The Real Estate Associates in 1875. it was replaced by an apartment building 1912, but most of the row (including 1503 Golden Gate, partially visible at right) still stands. View north up Fillmore Hill to the Market Street Railway Co. (MSRy) counterbalance cars. 2929 Fillmore St on the right was the last home of Abe Ruef, who was city boss at the time of the 1906 Earthquake.

After they built the SF College for Women on it. USF. Ewing Field. Calvary Cemetery. Fulton McAllister Carbarn. Alamo Square, Lowell High School, Panhandle, Buena Vista Park. The west slope of Lone Mountain shows the effects of the December 26, 1935 landslide which closed Parker Avenue for over a year.

Don Lee Cadillac, St Mary's Cathedral, Packard's Showroom. Both buildings have radio towers on them. Packard & Buick were intense competitors, so Packard put up dummy transmitters for showmanship.
