Por Boy Drive-In. Large angled plate glass, neon striping, chromed double doors, and Acme Beer. What's not to love about the long-gone Por-Boy Drive-In, which stood on the southwest corner of South Van Ness Avenue at Adair Street.

1298 Potrero Avenue at 25th Street is a concrete commercial structure, built 1947. This view is northwest across Potrero, to U-Toast-It Fountain Lunch Restaurant and Coffee Shop. Visible at right behind billboard is 1290 Potrero, the now-demolished Good Samaritan Community Center.
