Sunset Outer2501-2505 Taraval Street at 35th Avenue. Multi use building of storefronts with flats above, built in 1950. Noriega Cleaners is in one of the storefronts in 1951. Note the undeveloped lot to the right.
Parkside3641 California Street, on the south side of the block near Parker Avenue. This small building, set back with parking lot in front, was built in 1950 and used as medical offices. It has been demolished in favor of a mixed-use residential and commercial space building. The rear of apartment units on Parker are at right.
Laurel Heights / Jordan Park2330-2334 Geary Blvd between Broderick and Baker. Built before the 1906 earthquake, this 3-unit residence escaped redevelopment and looks largely the same today. Of note on this transit corridor: advertisements for Christopher's Milk and the Richmond District's Alexandria Theater (40 cent weekday matinees)
Lower Pacific Heights2633 20th St. These Edwardian flats between Potrero and Hampshire streets were built in 1907. Both buildings extant 2019.
MissionIn 1951, 1129 Irving between 12th Avenue and Funston was partially vacant. It was also the office of Ben Ostrowski, a contractor/builder. This site is now occupied by a 5-unit building built in 1992.
