In distance, at 7th street corner, 288 - 298 7th Street (also 1100 Folsom Street) is under construction. Just beyond, Peerless Light factory, 1116 Folsom, built circa 1907, was later converted to offices with a modern 4th story. Pacific Rolling Mills, looking northeast from 25th Street and Illinois. The tall building in the center of the photo was located on the north side of 23rd Street between the present-day former PG&E Station A structure and the Potrero Power Plant, and was demolished in the 1990s. Lots of smoke from the chimneys. Warm Water Cove at center, note the small boat.
