View north across Market to Native Sons (Admission Day) Monument by Douglas Tilden at the intersection of Mason, Turk and Market Streets, Mechanics Savings Bank Building , Poodle Dog Restaurant and Hotel. Monument moved to Golden Gate Park in 1948, it was returned to Market at Post and Montgomery Streets in 1977.
