Schiller & Goethe Statue in original location on the west side of the Music Concourse, (current site of the de Young Museum Sculpture Garden) on August 11, 1901. It would be moved to the current east side of the Concourse in the early 1920s.

Golden Gate Park. 'Apple Cider Press' statue with 'Chutes Theatre' on 10th Avenue in background. This bronze sculpture by Thomas Shields was displayed during the Midwinter Fair of 1894. M.H. de Young later purchased it for the City of San Francisco. It was originally a drinking fountain.
