1906 Earthquake and Fire, View east on Geary between Fillmore and Webster, people posed in the street with stoves and street kitchens, cable car tracks in the street. 1st English Evangelical Lutheran Church in the distance. This is fairly soon after the earthquake, initially cooking was required as far as possible from buildings. Later street kitchens were allowed to move to the sidewalk.
