Willard Burr, house at right to his son C.C. Burr. Burr's property was fenced along Laguna Survey lines, which were roughly diagonal to the main street grid. Rails on roadway for Sutter Street Railroad horsecar line to Harbor View, abandoned in 1873 in favor of a more direct route. Van Ness Avenue was extended through the property in 1894.
