1906 Earthquake and Fire, Collapsed Home of Julius E. Peters, 2522 Howard (now South Van Ness), west side, near 21st Street. Neighboring house to left has Red Cross sign on pillar and still stands at 1060 South Van Ness. Stove in street. Front yard with palms.
