Little HollywoodView westerly, school students sitting on hill overlooking the Bayshore and Candlestick Cove projects. Remains of ships burned in Candlestick Cove visible in water. Candlestick Cove housing was built in 1943 to house workers from Hunters Point. Parts were demolished in the mid 1950s during construction of the US101 Freeway, the remainder was demolished in the late 1960s.
