Lower Pacific Heights2741-2745 Bush Street near Broderick. Multi-unit residential building, built 1900 or prior. House on right has been demolished and the lot is now a mini-park.
Lower Pacific Heights2901 Vallejo Street at Baker. Single-family residence, built 1950. A steep, unpaved portion of Baker Street is at left, and even today is a dead end shortly past the house.
Pacific Heights2913 California is a single-family residence that looks largely the same today, a modernization of what was probably a flat-front Italianate when built. Records indicate that it was built prior to 1900. it is flanked on both sides by large Victorians which date from 1891-92, so an assumption would be that this modest building preceded those by at least a few years.
Pacific HeightsThis dual-family residence at 174 19th Ave was built prior to 1906. In the 1940s, it was home to Carmel and Virginia Ramsey, and their lodger Florence Fairman.
Lake StreetBuilt in 1912, 146 Funston Ave is one of a pair of joined homes between Lake and California.
Richmond Inner2526-2528 Post Street near Baker Street. Residential units on north side of street, built 1907. Sign advertising Home Improvements by Ray L. Messersmith displayed on sidewalk in front; probably responsible for the faux brick façade. (Still extant 2023.)
2328 Post Street near Divisadero Street. Circa 1900 flats with transite siding applied. Appears to be next to a parking lot. Laundry is hanging from a line in back. This and the structure next to it are now demolished.
Lower Pacific HeightsThis dual-family residence at 118 15th Ave was built in 1906. In the 1940s, it was home to the Castro family--Albert, Frances and their son Edward.
