In the background are the ruins of the Pioneer Building (Society of California Pioneers) at 4th and Pioneer Place. The United States National Bank was located at 805 Market St. in the Flood Building after April, 1905. It advertised that its safe deposit vaults were conveniently located on the ground floor.
