Richmond InnerThe U.C. Botanical Garden conservatory in Berkeley built by Lord and Burnham (the same firm that built the Conservatory of Flowers) in 1894. It was demolished when the campus expanded in the 1920s. This site is now a parking lot.

When the first story was built in 1874-1875, it was one story in height with four classrooms but was planned so two more stories could be built later. The second story, of four more classrooms, was added in 1881, and a third story was added in 1895, five years after this photo was taken. [WMK] [SC29]
