Elevated view southwest across 24th St. Southeast Corner San Bruno Road and 24th Street, Mr. Shaffer Accident Case. William Shaffer Accident Case. Shaffer sued San Francisco Gas & Electric, United Railroads and Pacific State Telephone and Telegraph on December 22, 1904, claiming that the companies maintained uninsulated guy wires on a pole at 24th and San Bruno, which shocked him and caused him to fall to the street. Building behind poles and some houses on west side of San Bruno still stand in 2020. United Railroads U00631.
