Lower Pacific HeightsView southwest across Castro to Victorians on west side of Castro between 26th and Clipper. Row of rectangular bay Italianates built by Fernando Nelson 1892. From left, 1620, 1618, 1616, 1614, and 1612 Noe, all still standing in 2022. Asbestos siding on 1612 Noe has since been removed and restored with a Victorian facade. [Noe - Stick; Castro]
Noe Valley1735-1737 Webster Street near Bush. It was built in 1885 by the Newsom Brothers, architects, at 773 Turk near Franklin, where Opera Plaza is today, and was moved to this location on Webster Street in November 1974. Rectangular bay boarded up and on blocks; preparation for renovation.
