1686 Bryant Street near 16th Street, is a mixed-use commercial and residential on the west side of the block, built in 1907 in the Mission Revival style. The living quarters above have square bay windows with art glass transoms. In 1951, Transfer Quick Lunch and a Shaving Parlor occupied the commercial space at street level.

Sutter between Fillmore and Steiner View to northeast side of the street and approaching Muni 1-line trolley coach #813. The entire block was demolished during redevelopment. Building on left was built as the Victory Theatre in 1907, and was later known as Fischer's, All Star, Gaiety and Sutter before becoming the Little Chapel Church of God in Christ.
