Pacific Heights[Geary Street, from Taylor, view East, S. F.] On the near right corner of Geary and Mason is the only known view of one of the earliest buildings to be constructed in this area. It was built as a Presbyterian Church in 1854 and went through a number of uses as a church, Sunday School, and a non-sectarian school (the Urban Academy on the likely date of this photograph)(PF), 8th Ward Market at 443 Geary.
