Fillmore & Jackson

This house was built in 1881 at 2435 Fillmore Street on the southwest corner of Jackson Street for Captain J. O. Van Bergen to designs by Samuel and J. Cather Newsom. It was moved, most likely in 1908, to an uncertain location. A photo of the move in progress is in the article 'Itinerant Houses,' in The Argonaut, Spring 1999. (WMK) [Residence cor.
