The car was chartered by the Citizens Committee To Save the Cable Cars and its chair Friedel Klussmann. On front left, campaign sign urging a yes vote on Proposition 10 (which passed overwhelmingly and preserved all existing Municipal Railway cable car lines), reading 'Vote Yes on Prop. 10 Nov. 4 and SAVE THE CABLES. Cables in the last 10 years have had fewer fatalities than buses. No bus can load as fast. Cables have 4 brakes." On left Owl Drug in Flood Building.
