MarinaPresidio & Ferries R.R. Co. streetcar #13. Dash sign reads 'Harbor View & Ferries via Union street.' At this time, Presidio & Ferries ran Columbus to Union (over Russian Hill) to Steiner, turned on Greenwich and ran north on Baker to Harbor View. Car barn was on Jefferson near Lyon. [EE] The line was acquired by the Municipal Railway (Muni) in 1913 and became the basis for the E-line.

Earthquake refugee shacks at lower right had originally been located on Lobos Square (today's Moscone Field), but in 1908 were moved off the public square and onto private property where they were stored for several years. Barracks and support buildings at Fort Scott in distance were constructed 1909-1912.
