Fire Station 41, Leavenworth between Clay and Washington [1325 Leavenworth Street 'Pegboard.' Before computer dispatch in 1978, each firehouse manually posted on the pegboard which companies were supposed to respond to alarms, a system in use since 1877. A firefighter was on duty to keep the pegboard up to date.]
