Panorama of ships in anchor. New Wellington Coal, Ferry Building, Hercules steam ship, Rochambeau and William P. Frye steel barques. The William P. Frye was the first U.S. vessel sunk during World War I. (The shuttle boats at lower left are probably ferrying visitors to warships at anchor in the Bay, likely the Great White Fleet.)
