1906 Earthquake and Fire, View northwest from Market and 8th Streets toward ruins of old City Hall. Pioneer (James Lick) Monument in Marshall Square in its original location. Two temporary food stands set up in the street. 'The Soft Drink Emporium' and the 'Del Monico Cafe' advertising coffee and sandwiches 5 cents.
