View northwest approaching Pier 22 and Bay Bridge. Taken from bridge of outbound ship. The Embarcadero Freeway looks completed (May, 1959); and the old S-P sign (center right edge of image) on the Southern Pacific Building is still there (removed, Sept. 1961).
