Golden Gate Park, View northwest. Memorial Museum in foreground, newer de Young in background. Originally constructed as the Fine Arts Building for 1894 Midwinter Fair, the Egyptian-style building was renamed Memorial Museum in 1895 and eventually became part of de Young Museum. It was demolished in 1929. Military field guns, turtle sundial by M. Earl Cummings, lion statue, sphinxes.
