from: Tony Arioli this photo dates from at or about 1946 - the "Mobilgas" sign (below tower 2 of the Bay Bridge) has a white background that was painted red in 1947; the Standard Oil Bldg. (just to the right of the Russ Bldg.with the tile covered pitched roof) does not have it's west annex attached (completed in mid-1950.)
