Nob Hill, Hopkins and Stanford mansions, Fairmont Hotel (before completion), Grace Church, California Hotel & Theatre (with conical towers). At lower left, W.&J. Sloane Building (1900, Tharp & Holmes architects). Following the 1906 catastrophe, it was demolished down to its steel frame and rebuilt into the present-day Jewelers Building.
