Northwest corner of California and Leidesdorff. The building was originally the London and San Francisco Bank, built in 1873-1874. It survived the 1906 earthquake and fire and was rehabbed by Willis Polk, who added the short top story. At far left is the Mercantile Trust Co. Building (1903,Albert Pissis, Architect), Kohl Building beyond.
