[SF Mansions Flood B-way] Interior of the James Leary Flood residence, built in 1914-15. The mantel in this reception room (state dining room during the Flood Family's residence) is of Champville stone. According to a 1970's tour brochure: 'The Ionic pilasters are crowned by bowls of fruit. Carved dolphins, symbols of affection and friendliness are found at the base of the pilasters...' Marble fireplace, Madonna & Child art above, and murals at ceiling. Occupied by Convent & Stuart Hall schools.
