Hotel Whitcomb at night

Elevated view south across Market to electrically lit facade. Originally built as San Francisco's temporary City Hall (see City Hall sign above main entry), and served as such from 1912 to 1915. Then became Hotel Whitcomb. [Wright, Rushforth & Cahill Architects]
