Golden Gate Park

View north to Memorial Museum, across Music Concourse and pedestrian tunnel. Dore Vase at center, flanked by Arthur Putnam's sphinxes, which replaced an earlier pair. Originally constructed as the Fine Arts Building for 1894 Midwinter Fair, it was renamed Memorial Museum in 1895 and eventually became part of de Young Museum.
