View south across Market to Municipal Railway (Muni) 21-line streetcar #109 outbound, Embassy Theater, Sun-Light Fountain Lunch, Strand Theatre, Hotel National, lots of sailors standing in the street, streetcar is packed with passengers, street decorated for Shriner convention. Crowd is leaving area because of night Shriners parade. (see also wnp14.2501)

View northeast toward the north side of the 1800 block of Pine between Octavia and Gough. Row of Victorian houses on bluff several flights up from street. Only slightly darker house house with rounded bay windows, 1848 Pine(then 1808 Pine, home of Simon Koshland) and the next home, 1836 Pine (then 1806 Pine) remain in 2021.
