View north on San Jose Ave. to approaching Market Street Railway (MSRy) 26-Line #1599 on San Jose Ave between Sagamore and Sickles and Alemany. Standard Oil service station, Ocean View Hardware in background. Reinstated 26-Line running between Daly City and Onondaga Ave. and Mission St. only during World War II. Apartment building at left, 103-111 Sagamore St. built 1929, still stands 2023. Area at right of photo demolished for I280 freeway.
