View south toward Oakdale Avenue overcrossing. Southern Pacific Steam Engine #4447, Train #99 at the Newcomb Avenue station near Newcomb and Quint. Tunnel no. 3 barely visible in the background. Houses on the ridge (Bridgeview Drive) constructed in 1954-55. (Train converted to diesel fuel in 1955, possibly this was one of the last steam runs.)
