View toward Coit Tower from (now) Ina Coolbrith Park. At left is 857 Green, the home of Governor and later U.S. Senator Hiram Johnson. He lived there from 1909, when it was built, most likely until 1927. It was torn down in 1961 to build the Royal Towers highrise. Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower, and Garfield School at center.
