Candlestick Point

Candlestick Park site from the former Bay shoreline, at what was formerly the end of Gilman Avenue, near Griffith. Land reclamation in progress before stadium construction. An unfilled section of Bay is visible on the left, and partially visible on the right are the remains of the Gilman Beach boathouse pier and a surrounding temporary lagoon that had yet to be filled.
