View southeast. Opening of the Sunset Tunnel and Muni N-Judah line. Bunting, '1' sign, and 'Old Timer's Car' banner decorate streetcar stopped on Judah. This was the lead car in the parade, with Mayor James Rolph as its motorman, headed to the inaugural ceremonies at the western terminus of the new line. Automobiles line the street surrounding it.
