View southwest across 18th St toward Swiss Creamery 4543 18th, Joseph McDonald Wood & Coal 4547 18th, and the home of Charles 'Carlos' Solari, namesake of Solari Hill (now known as Kite Hill). Two single story Victorians were moved to the back of the lot and rotated 90 degrees to make room for a larger apartment house (4555 18th) moved from directly across the street on the line of Storrie Street. Most of the buildings in this view still stand in 2021. [dpwbook9 dpw2034]
