Monroe School [dpwbook33 dpw8717] This version was built in 1919, to accomodate increased student population, which then closed the previous Monroe School (on Excelsior bet London and Paris -- that building was renovated in 1920; still extant). This school building is gone, replaced by current Monroe School built sometime after 1971, when this one was called out as structurally unsound.
