The street would be paved with 5 switchbacks starting at about the house with the witch's cap at the upper right. the house still stands in 2021 at 901 Vermont. The Bayshore freeway, US101, now cuts through the lower part of this view [Vermont St. North from 22nd St.] (before crooked) [dpwbook36 dpw10206]
