Marshall Square with Pioneer (Lick) Monument in its original location which would become the corner of Hyde and Grove. Methodist Book Concern Building, 3 City Hall Ave.(Now 83 McAllister) in distance left with large sign atop. On Market St. near 7th are Grant Building, Odd Fellows Hall, American Theatre. At far right, rear of Robison Bros. Bird Store, 1260 Market (which stands in 2019 as the Wells Fargo Bank Building (1908), 1256-1264 Market, one of only two buildings remaining along the City Hall Avenue alignment). Market at Ord

Market Street Extension, View west from Ord street between 18th and Corbett. This view is from the current westbound lane of Market Street and was taken as a survey for the extension in the middle of the proposed right of way. Backyard at right is in back of 160 Ord. The three left-center buildings were demolished for the extension. The two houses on the right, 29-31 Hattie and 35 Hattie, were demolished after a 2016 fire.
