View east on Portola Drive from between Twin Peaks Boulevard and Glenview Drive toward Clipper, showing grading and construction. Portola was straightened in this location in the 1950s to bypass the curve, and the roadway closest to the photographer's location was cut off and became a dead-end block off of Glenview.
